Canada and Latvia United on the Road to the NATO Vilnius Summit
March 30 (6:00 p.m. ET) in Toronto
Canada and Latvia have a strong relationship that has blossomed over the past few years while Canada has led NATO’s Enhanced Forward Presence in Latvia. Latvia's Ambassador to Canada, H.E. Kaspars Ozoliņš will be speaking with Kevin Rex, Canada's Former Ambassador to Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia, about the relationship between Canada and Latvia as members of NATO, the goals of NATO’s Enhanced Forward Presence, the changes brought about in Europe by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, and the road to the Vilnius NATO Summit this summer.
The event will be held at the Royal Canadian Military Institute in Toronto.
