Cultural Foundation Fundraising Drive

The Latvian National Federation in Canada Educational and Cultural Foundation is inviting you to join in this year’s fund raising drive so that the foundation can continue supporting Latvian educational and cultural activities here in Canada.

In 2019 the Educational Cultural Foundation (ECF) of the Latvian National Federation in Canada (LNFC) distributed funds in the amount of $61,105 by supporting Latvian schools, seminars, scholarships for university students and summer educational programs, concerts, research and various other cultural projects and events. Without your donations, this support would not have been possible. 

Here are some examples of what ECF supported in 2019: the very successful XV Latvian Song and Dance Festival in Canada; two books (Latvian-Canadian Artists and Artisans and Latvian Pioneers, Socialists and Refugees in Manitoba) as well as the CD Canadian Amber (music by Latvian-Canadian composers).

Many thanks to the generous donors who have supported ECF’s important work in the past. If you value what has been accomplished, please support us now.  Also, the good works of our benefactors can continue long after they themselves are no longer with us by a testamentary donation to the LNFC Educational and Cultural Foundation.
